Finally, the time for the European Geothermal Congress has come. Next week the hosts, the European Geothermal Council and the Bundesverband Geothermie, are looking forward to welcoming more than 1200 participants at the Berlin Congress Center (bcc) from Monday 17 to Friday 21 October.

Geothermal energy is attracting broader interest than ever before. Europe is one of the pioneers of geothermal energy and shows how geothermal energy can be an answer to the long overdue energy transition. Representatives from over 45 countries will travel to Berlin to discuss, learn and explore numerous best practice examples, lighthouse projects and new developments in geothermal energy.
And the EGC2022 is a unique opportunity for your networking: In the online networking place you have access to an overview of all participants who want to appear on the official list. Edit your profile and start new discussions!

The onsite registration will open again on Tuesday 18th of October from 8:30 am (https://europeangeothermalcongress.eu/registration/ ).

With an exhibition of 59 companies, dozen of side events, and a banquet dinner with over 800 participants, the congress offers numerous opportunities for networking in a pleasant atmosphere. We look forward to exciting and inspiring discussions with you.

About the Bundesverband Geothermie e.V.:
Founded in 1991, the Bundesverband Geothermie e.V. (BVG) is an association of companies and individuals active in the field of geothermal energy utilisation in all areas of research and application. It unites members from industry, science, planning and the energy supply sector. The main tasks of the association are to inform the public about the potential uses of geothermal energy for heat and power generation and to engage in dialogue with political decision-makers. The BVG organises the annual German geothermal energy congress (DGK) as well as workshops on current topics and is the publisher of the technical journal “Geothermal Energy” and other information materials. As co-organiser, the BVG organises the European Geothermal Congress (EGC) in Berlin, which will take place from the 17th to the 21st of October 2022.About EGEC – European Geothermal Energy Council
The European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) is a not-for-profit organisation promoting all aspects of the geothermal industry.
