Brussels, 6 October 2022

The EGC event is the largest gathering of the geothermal energy industry in Europe. With more markets opening up to this competitive and local renewable energy source, EGC 2022 is the perfect platform to network, learn and do business with key players from the geothermal world.

The European Geothermal Congress will take place from 17 to 21 October 2022 in the heart of Berlin at the bcc (Berlin Congress Center). More than 1000 participants are already registered.

The Geothermal industry brings its support to the event. Who are the sponsors? As already announced, Baker Hughes is the Main Sponsor of the congress. With a big delegation of representatives, Baker Hughes will be present in several ways; intervening in the Opening Ceremony of the congress, with a large booth at level B, and sponsoring the Banquet Dinner that will be attended by more than 800 people.

”The support from Baker Hughes is showing the lead from this company to see geothermal energy as a critical enabling technology capable of shifting society toward renewable energy resources as part of the energy transition” mentioned Philippe Dumas, EGEC Secretary-General.

The conference encompasses a wide range of activities, including keynote speakers, breakout learning sessions, diverse presentations, and networking opportunities.

The sponsors of the conference will also include:
As Platinum sponsors EGC 2022 counts on Turboden at booth B16, Eavor at booth B2, Exergy & Strabag at booth B20, and Engie at booth B21.

In the Gold category, Fraunhofer IEG at level B14, Roedl & Partner at booth B18, Hartmann Valves at booth B8, Anger’s Söhne at booth B5, and Welltec at booth B13. All of the sponsors mentioned above are located on level B of the building and have a keynote presentation.
Moreover, EGC counts on 9 companies for the Silver package: geoEnergie Konzept at booth B21, Stadtwerke München, KCA Deutag at booth B19, Kurita at booth B9, Halliburton at booth A11, GEOS at booth C3, GPC IP/GEOFLUID at booth B26 and Arctic Green Energy Corporation.

With customized packages, EGC counts on GEOLOG at booth B17 and Weatherford International. The Institutional Partner of this congress is The Helmholtz Centre Potsdam – GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences at booth B22, B23.
We thank all of our sponsors for their support and making this congress possible.

Online registration for Europe’s largest geothermal congress EGC 2022 in Berlin remains open until 13 October. For more information on the congress follow the #EGC2022 on social media to stay up to date.
