Draft agenda announced

The draft agenda for the European Geothermal Congress 2016 is now available.

The week will begin on Monday with courses, the exhibition build up, and welcome cocktail

The main congress days begin on Tuesday morning with a joint opening ceremony presented by the European Geothermal Congress and Les Journées de la Géothermie, after which the two conferences split. In the evening, the congress banquet will be held in the historic city centre.

On Wednesday, EGC begins with a plenary session in the morning followed by parallel sessions covering politics and markets, science, and technology. The European Geothermal Energy Council will hold its AGM and members’ dinner in the evening.

Thursday will begin with a two ‘semi plenary’ sessions one covering science and one technology. Poster and parallel sessions will follow before the closing ceremony in the late afternoon.

The site visit will be held on Friday, during which 150 people will tour the local geothermal fields.
